I was thinking about going until the defense spots filled up. Attacking a castle with small arms seems like a fool's mission to me.

4 to 1 odds is a fools mission as well but yet we still defend

small arms = less weight to lug up the hill

Its pure paintball insanity.....

The few times I made it into the castle was when using a pump instead of a semi.
My theory is that since I was only making well-aimed shots, and was largely ignored.

So in some regards it is an advantage. Plus, you will still have armies of kids who will do nothing but fire large streams of paint at no particular target. They are very useful as cover fire, I suppose.

Ahhh... whichever side you are on, Castle is only partially about paintball, to me at least.

I play one game of paintball that lasts anywhere from 1.5 to 4 hours and then I get to hang out with some of my favorite people on this planet for a day or two.

If I got there and there was no paint or air or the game was canceled, I would not even complain. I would simply grab another beer, adjust my ass in the lawn chair and tell another story.

That's what I always liked best about Castle.
The massive paintball game is fun, but it really is all about the people. That's one thing I miss the most up here- I don't get to see you all and just sit around in BS.

Maybe we can simul-cast the post game BS sessions like Azzy's wedding. Streaming video of Guinness cans being emptied (and Drum's famous stories).

We'd have to have another muffin gun incident to keep it really interesting

I don't know.. having used 12 grams shot at you from the muffin gun can be a little scary... less so when the shooter is drunk (cough) oldschool(cough) but still a little scary
