EMR Castle Conquest XXV - Official Thread

The Carter's Commano team will be defending this spring.

EMR PAINTBALL PARK | Scenario Paintball | Recball | Tournament Paintball | Castle Conquest | Paintball Safety

So if you want to be inside the walls, you will need to sign up NOW. Many of us have already started signing up.

We will be playing along side Blue's Crew and Delta. These are two large teams, which doesn't leave a ton of room for other defenders. Sign up as soon as you can for a defending spot, if you wait too long you'll be outside the walls.

Please put down that you're with the Carters Commando team, and this way we can all be on the same list and put in a good showing. Every year we try to bring more then the last.

This should be a great time per usual.

Also, we will be having the beer tasting contest for the homebrewers. There's ALWAYS a huge trade swap meet going on at the CC Bunkhouse, along with tons of freebee's grab bags, and used guns for sale. Everything from rare pumps to high end electro's going cheap.

Did I mention the drinks?

April 26 is the big game, April 27 is the pump game.

For those of us who have never been there, what are the prefered accomodations? Are there showers onsight for people who bunk/camp?

I think I ask this every year but I forget the answers. I'd really like to come out and meet some of you guys in person.

nein on showers!

For campers/bunkers: showers at local Truck stop or campgrounds 3-5 bucks.

The nicest local Hotel is the Holiday Inn in Gibson.

For the super-cheap, there is a really nice hostel nearby in Hop Bottom. (about the same distance as the Holiday Inn). $15 for a real bed, shower, and kitchen.

By the way, the town is named after a beer-making process.

The problem though is its pretty tough to get in and out if the road has turned to mud. I originally planned on heading out for a shower, but realized once I get my car out of the mud, it won't be going back.

Also, if you plan on drinking, might as well take advantage of the free camping. There is always the lake to substitute for a shower.

Holiday Inn is pretty nice. The bathrooms are HUGE and they have a pool.

Go and kick some ass guys. I'm not going to go for another couple years at least considering how little I want to travle anywhere for a bit.
