| Administrator Join Date: May 2006 Location: Trenchtown | Heheheheh, good times! If I recall correctly, Billy's Sniper was either #12 or #22. I actually had a chance to talk to Bud Orr about Billy's Sniper once. I was sitting next to him at an IAO dinner and got to chatting with him (before he knew to hate me as a Palmerite). Anyway, I was flabbergasted to hear Bud peg Billy by first and last name from my description of him. Apparently, Billy bought one of Bud's first guns from him in his garage and Bud remembered Billy. I was both amazed and impressed. Shortly after I returned to I.T. with this astounding story, Billy's beloved Sniper went down and needed some Orings. With my encouragement, he called WGP for parts and was told, fairly rudely by his account, to go ahead and buy a new one, they were "cheap" and "much better" than his old gun. The sniplets at WGP seemed to imply that he was being a penny pincher by holding on to and playing with such an old relic. Anyway... Last I heard, Billy and a lot of the old gang had been playing down at Triage and also at that other place down there near Philly; "Commander Carl's"? The name escapes me. I.T. used to have a great deal whereby you payed $20 for the first five times in a year, byop, and then on the sixth time and every time after, it was only $5 per visit (and the price included lunch!) SOme hiccup occurred after he tried to change the pay scheme and most of the older guys, including me, moved on to other fields. Rudy, it is not the type of field that would warrant a drive across the state. D.

With this crew, it's always more than being just about paintball. I'd love to see this field and play it (even if it is a tetanus hazard) and hear some more of the stories. That's worth the trip.
