Moose.... We will definitely be attending spring and fall castle. We have attended castle in various capacities for more than 5 years. If you have never played castle, you need to make the drive. Canadian paintball events have some ground to make up...

I wanted to make spring, but work slowed dwon and so did money, but I'll definitely be going to fall. Keep in touch as it gets closer and we will figure out the car pool thing, Thanks.

yeah, if someone wants to work out a CC Ontario car pool, i'd definitely be in for Fall.

Target, and everybody else who wants in on Fall Castle: PM me. My roommate and I planning on going to Conquest (I worked out that, if I can split the costs with one person, it's cheaper for me to drive to Castle and get my Squall from Freedom then to have it shipped and pay the customs fees...

), and if we can get a Canuck carpool going down, that'd be metal.

I worked out the costs for ~$250 in gas and rental (A little econo-box) from Windsor, and as long as we leave from somewhere near the Great Lakes, that cost should be about the same. However, if we can borrow vehicles, all the better. Out best bet might be to meet in Hamilton or Niagra, cross at Niagra and drive down. (I say Toronto because it's probably the easiest place for all of us to meet-a train ticket to Toronto is something like $50).

If we get 15, we should definitely go in on a bunkhouse as well.

I'm from Niagara Falls, same with Eric, and we both play at DMZ (though I have yet to meet him in person). I might be down for Fall Castle, depending on the date.

Fall castle is Sept 27-28, I am in for it definitely and Marauder if you figure 250 in expenses for driving, between five guys which should not be hard to get, thats pretty good. Although you'll probably need almost as much for paint as well.

We get about 8-12 members down for each emr event. Renting is an option we have found to just be a pain, a lot of renters take issue with border crossing and so do US border guards sometimes. Fuel expense is not as bad as you might think: In our best/worst scenario most room/most gas we drove a members hemi truck down, cost us about 60$ a piece. Driving the wee s10 i can drive down and a quarter of the way back on 65 litres of gas.

Regardless it is a worthwhile price to pay.

On the paint note, plan on a case for sure, close to 2 if you're defending.But the price is great for quality paint

I made the prices on a worst-case scenario of an average of $1.50/litre, so it could be less if prices don't go nuts.

I just picked renting since I don't own a car, but if we can get personal vehicles, all the better.
