Has anyone considered using roll out awnings like on a motorhome for rain/shade cover?

If allowed.......

The bunkhouse needs a new foundation and all the joists and stringers replaced.

Everything after that is easy.

A sunsetter would be great, but as Oldschool said. The Foundation is toast. There's no point in investing any money fixing stuff, until we know it'll still be there next season. (If you've taken a good look at the foundation, you'll realize there's a good chance for it to roll down into the lake)

Just a note, 40 foot shipping containers run around $3900 in my area, not shure about out east. They are cheaper and stronger than a shed of the same size and Ive seen people add windows to them and standard doors. plus they are "temporary" buildings so they could be delivered no problem after someone(s) did all the work elesewhere.

Not that bad. the joist are still solid(not rotten)The building needs to be jacked up so that joists can be straightened and reattached. The other bunkhouses have a board that runs down the center under the joists helping to keep them aligned. Our bunkhouse is missing this. The closer you get to the road the less room you have to work.At one corner the bunkhouse rests on the ground at the far end it is about 2foot off the ground(built on a slope).A few of us tried to fix it 2 or 3 years ago.We only had 2 pump jacks to work with and had to dig holes for the jacks.Said holes quickly filled with water when we got one of EMRs signiture down pours.Adrian and I came out from under there looking as if we were trying to hide from the Predator.I think it is fixable we just need the right equipment and a few able hands to do the work.

Does not sound like a hard fix.....just a pain....if anyone can work on clearing around the bunk house at each game until the Fall game....We'll see how it goes...I have a porta-power that would help in jacking it up...

The stuff that needs to be cleared will also be used in the repairs.14 inch block a few 4x4's.The stuff could be cleaned out of the way in 20-30 min with 2-3 people.

We tried for a work day the first time.Beer plus July/August heat means little accompished.

I will gladly come up before fall castle to help.
