Castle Food. (Original out of hand version)

CASTLE

Post up what you are bringing to share.

I know I'm bringing something for the bakesale.... as to other food... I'm looking into it... Mom had offered to make something.... but then she pissed Suz and I off.. and I haven't talked to her in a couple weeks.. so I don't know if that offer is still on the table.... hopefully things will be back to normal by the end of the week and I can get her to make something.

Maybe I can bring meatballs in sauce.

I remember that GP is allergic to chili peppers so I won't bring chili this year. Hmmm...

Definitely going to bring some grillable items. The sausage worked well last time I was up at EMR, If I've got the extra time maybe i'll do something a bit more interesting.

I'm probably not coming up till Saturday morning this year, too much going on that week and next to disappear Friday night.

4 cases of homebrew beer.
Beer is food right?

Probobly a huge thing of peanut butter. Back when I used to backpack all over the world, I always carried a jar of peanut butter. It never goes bad, and its a perfect energy source

Azzy, use a turkey frier. Would that be a large enough quantity?

as for bunkhouse cooking, there is now a dual propane burner rig that goes from simmer to nuclear.
There is a claudron pot w/lid
a 2.4 FOOT frying pan
I can also bring a turkey fryer base, but I am out of other large pots.
