| Some PPV Questions and Help... I have wanted to make the journey to EMR and meet all you East Coast guys for a while now and it looks like I will finally have the opportunity to make it out for PPV since I have plans for the following week in New York City. I am trying to figure out my plan tickets now. It would be easier for me to fly into New York City (JFK) but after I posted in the PPV thread Darkstar suggested I look into Binghamton. I have a ton of questions though and any help would be appreciated: Would it be easier for me to mail my guns (houndstooth and superstocker) or take them in my luggage? I saw a thread about taking them in your luggage (obviously not carry on) somewhere but not really sure if I want to try it. Also, any volunteers to be on the receiving end if I do mail them? I am thinking that sending would be better so i could send a small tank along with the guns. Bunkhouses? What are the rules with these? I will have a sleeping bag so I could crash on the ground, would there be room for me somewhere? What are the fees associated with them? When should I try to fly in? I want to try to get in as much playing in all three days as possible, so should I try and fly in on the 31st or the 1st? Are people playing on Friday? When does everyone show up? If I came in on the 31 could I stay the night in a bunkhouse? Pre Reg? Is this just on the EMR page or do I try to do a group reg with some of you guys? Rides? Is there anyone coming or going to New York for either the way there or the way back? I am not totally sure whether I will come from Binghamton or NYC but I will definitely be heading to New York on the way back. I could help with gas and snacks for either. 12 grams? Can I pick up 12 grams at EMR? Anyways, I am sure I will have more questions when I reread this tomorrow again. Thanks everyone! -Dan |

| You will get lots of help on your efforts here, Dan. It will be great to have you East. Definitely ship your guns. EMR is very cool about that and most of our long distance CC guys do that. Bunkhouses are available as is camping. I am fairly sure that we could arrange to have you take one of the bunks in our stripey bunkhouse for PPV. Night before the game is a fun time, but really, the first organized paintball does not occur until Saturday morning. Closest airport is Binghamton, NY and lots of people fly in and you can probably find a ride without too much trouble. Definitely pre-reg. EMR does not sell 12g's as far as I know. There are usually quite a few around at a PP game, but EMR does not sell them. There are normal big box stores within a short distance. I hope that gets you started. I am 112 miles to the South of EMR so if I can help with any of the logistics, please let me know. Cheers, D |

| Loin Falcon Palin | Dan, things I've done before. Mailed my guns to Lee, he carted them to EMR for me. I've also flew the friendly skies with my guns in my luggage with no problemo. Don't bring any tanks, too big a PITA. Picked up 12gs from Wal-Mart. I've flown into Binghamton and coordinated to have Carter pick me up on his way to EMR, Lee carted my butt back for the return trip. I've stayed in both the CC bunkhouse and the overflow bunkhouse with no issues. Bring a flashlight to find your way to the porta potties in the middle of the night. Don't forget that you most likely will pick up cool stuff at the bunkhouse swap meet that will most likely go on so plan on toting home additional stuff. Have fun, I know you'll have a blast. |

| Thanks for the replies guys. I was debating flying in and out of NYC since I am spending the rest of that week there after PPV but I decided to fly into Binghamton Friday morning so I wouldn't have to take the bus. I am going to try to bum a ride afterwards towards NYC if someone is going in that direction afterwards. As for Pre Reg, should I call in and if I do then do I need to tell them that I am in the MCB group or is there anything else I should tell them? Thanks guys! -Dan |
