What are you bringing, or what do we want to Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner?


Gameday:

Breakfast: Donuts and Coffee right? or Eggs and Bacon and coffee? We're attacking so we can take some time.

Lunch... I'm going to be making turkey (deli sliced) sandwiches the night before, and have them all ready in a cooler at our attacking staging area. Condiments will be Mayo and Russian Dressing for the sandwiches.

This way we'll have fuel to keep running and playing right?


Dinner...
Choices are Pizza for the local place. Steak on the grill? I can pick up some tenderloins, but we'll need a better grill to cook it all on.



Suggestions and who can bring what?
I'm officially bringing everything for the lunch sandwiches, so no worries there. I've got that covered. Start helping to fill in the gaps, or bring whatever specialty you can make.

I can't afford to bring much this year, I'll get together with the wife and find out what we will bring for sure and edit this post though. Since I feel bad about not being able to bring a bunch of stuff though I'll offer up my services cooking/helping cook (saturday won't be there in time to cook Friday), I also have about a quart of Blueberry Cordial that I am bringing down.

Beer and meatfest methinks.

'Course with this being my fourth CC, by now I should realize that beer goes without saying.

I'll do something up on the smoker, if there's a decent grill there we should be able to reheat it. I had thought about making a trash can smoker, but unfortunately the only steel garbage cans to be had around here are galvanized steel, and you don't want the results of heating zinc in your food.

I say beer and snacks and grillables and a 10 dollar bill and you're set all weekend!

I DO suggest we move forward (wait for post in the super secret inner sanctum section (yes one exists, and we're taking members applications!)) and get a database going of
1) 'tactical' equipment, ezups, pod loaders, etc so forth and so on.
2) food and booze.

That way we can get this like a friggin army and make more time to party and drink by being organized!

I'll probably not go overboard. I need to afford paint too :-)

I figure I'd do four packs of bratwursts, reheat 'em in the bunkhouse with a beer bath over a coleman stove and bring rolls for 'em too.

Don't worry, we have a real smoker here. I was worried about the ghetto rigged one because I had originally planned on doing it there. It's generally better fresh from the smoker. Beer baths being the exception to the rule.

I would say I can bring soda but you guys dont believe in it right?

I should have a couple gallons of chili and a couple gallons of some real nice overproof rum. Maybe some cookies if I get ambitious.
