For the 2009 season, the EMR Home Team, Carter's Commando is accepting interested parties for consideration regarding full team membership.

Requirements are few but significant.

You must exhibit high standards of play, as in upstanding honor and integrity. Notice that doesn't mean you have to be rockstar good, but love the game and be a great addition to any field simply by being an upstanding example of a player.

You must be able to accept and participate in some financial obligations.
at a minimum, it would include a pass to EMR for the 2009 playing year, big four passes may be accepted.
Chipping in to the till for various expenses (most of them are beer and food) are also required, but are generally minimal and affordable (compared to paintball at least!)

It is highly preferred applicants are 21 or over, due the fact the bunkhouse is essentially a bar you can sleep in. However we do have a couple members that do not drink at all, so as long as you are tolerant and cool. If you are under 21 and interested, be over 18 and PM me.

Old school pump players, collectors, and generally great people are welcome, regardless of what you shoot.

personally sponsored players are ok as we have no equipment restrictions, and the only uniform requirement is your proper shirt. (ok I even break that rule on field with my all black). Multiple team membership is permitted as well.

game commitments are flexible, but you should be prepared to make 4-7 yearly events at EMR, to both get your pass'es money's worth (making it 'free'). travelling events (none are yet scheduled) will not require commitment.

We are out to have FUN before all, but are looking forward to '09 being a dynamic year with more team growth both on the field and at the party, as well as some possible travelling events.

I may be up for a pass next year assuming pricing remains similar to this year - I haven't made it down there this year and would like to make up for it next year.

If I wasn't sucha lazy "paintballer" and was motivated to take long roadtrips, I'd certainly apply for membership. As it stands, I don't even make local events. Too bad there isn't a cool team closer.
