Max 12g efficiency setup?

So as I patiently wait for Bazooka Boy to ano my Phantom, I sat down and polished everything I could with my new Dremel I got for Christmas. I polished the trigger plate, my SSC fluted hammer, the bolt SSC polished for me, the TPC tube, and the power tube. Then I wondered, now everything will glide like buttered teflon, but what components, mods, tuning is necessary to absolutely maximize 12g efficiency - max usable shots? I'm talking unregulated 12g, and without getting into the 12g manufacturer. My phantom can be setup back bottle or VSC. I actually prefer back bottle with the bucket changer. 13" freaked stock CCI barrel. I have not seen any threads that pertain to max 12g efficiency. Would a small inline expansion chamber help? Does anyone make one? I read the powertube thread, but that is supposed to be for short barreled guns. What about long barrels? Is the efficiency more about maximizing airflow from the valve body to the ball? Or is it about completely vaporizing the co2 and limiting the air used to just enough? Before I tore the marker down and sent it on its vacation to the spa, with the SSC polished bolt and tri-fluted hammer, I could get about 35-40 usable shots. How do I tweak that even higher?

Thanks, I will hang up and listen.

Start here. Historic Nelson Tuning Threads

If you are looking for a way to add volume to a BBA setup I would suggest looking into the RTR Gargoyle valve as without the valve insert it holds about twice as much air as the CCI valve.

Remember lowering your FPS a little bit goes a long way when it comes to maximizing efficiency. Shooting a full 300fps will absolutely kill your efficiency. Some will even run as low as 265fps.

I aim for 270-280 to guarantee minimal adjustments at pretty much any field I might go to.

I also try to hit 270-280ish. You have to make sure that the valve dwell is shortened, in many cases. (harder valve spring or lighter hammer)

If you just turn down the gun, sometimes it just slows down the valve dwell, which results in lower velocity but an identical shot count.

I call Shenanigans. I've never seen a gun break 55 much less 60.

Ahh... I see he is from Hawaii. I think he gets a little gas expansion boost from the average temperature. Ya, I think that may be a bit unlikely for me in Pittsburgh, PA let alone up there in Vancouver, Russc. Thats still a high count.

I lived in Hawaii for 5 years, and the islands love 12 grams. They can be very magical there. I used to average 50 with mine running HSC all stock internals, and good paint/barrel match.
