Sounds like your tpc is screwed too far forward causing binding. Screw it in a turn or two.

This might be way off base, but the op mentioned using an sc feed from another marker. Maybe the screw used to mount the sc is a little long, pertruding into the marker? Would this not cause the rough pump stroke and keep things from moving correctly? |

Update time. Well the pump stroke is smoother but now it seems as though the air is not reaching the bolt and is getting choked along the way to the bolt somewhere in the valve (never taken apart).
