Try taking a junked tank or something that has male asa threads. Keep running it through to chase the threads. If everything else threads on fine, the reducer should be just as fine.

i just modified a DT1 kit for a RTR bucket changer

the Thread minor was like .01" small, i opened it up, chased the threads and it is better... (but still not perfect)

i need to gas it up to make sure it seals still

To the OP. I ran my duckslide on the Titus adaptor (which by the way is a fine piece of equipment) I got this past weekend. It is do-able but consistency and velocity were lacking. For me it was partially due to having a fluted hammer and a standard tpc. I don't wanna blame the tpc just yet. However so you have some ideas, my setup inside was:

Stock bolt
Fluted hammer
Red mainspring
Stock tpc
Stock valvespring

I couldn't shoot higher than 230. My initial speculatiOns is leading me to use a standard hammer(heavier) and an open face tpc for a more direct flow for air. Anyone can chime in. These are just my thoughts. Even with low velocity it was an air hog off my 13/3k. Some tinkering will clear that up.

I think that going to a heavier hammer would go a ways towards helping with the velocity. I personally don't like open face tpcs as I can't use one without blowing up paint but if they work for you then it can't hurt.

what is the output pressure of your 13/3k

if its under 600.... you might want to bump it up closer to 800, that should find your last 50fps

Good call stanchy. I actually don't know. I got the 13k brand new with the standard hp reg (ninja) I think default when they sell it is 450-500 something. Got some shims in the package too. I've never rebuilt a tank reg so bumping it up will be a first for me.

had a buddy buy a fully ssc'd phantom off me, hand delivered it at a pump only game

goes to chrono... 180-200
i start to worry, i had chrono'd to 280 with it the weekend before
swap springs, swap internals, nothin, cant figure it out
look at his reg... says SLP on it, do one of these!

swap tanks to one of my high pressure tanks on... 320 lol

Looking at paperwork proved me an idiot. Standard adjustable regs are set at 750 - 850 as the default output, all shims are in the tanks already, boy I feel stupid.
