Running Constant Air Through Dummy 12 gram and Bucket Changer?

Has anybody done this?

I was thinking of using this dummy 12 gram:
Dummy 12g Adapter [Dmy12g] - $21.00 : Celanis Paintball, Online Store
and running a Quick Disconnect out the bottom to an ASA.

Anyone forsee any problems with this? Thanks for the help!

I actually just ordered one from titus. I'll let you know how it goes. I had the same theory you did.

You can, but you're actually better off using an asa reducer running to the bottomline.
A reducer is a whole what.. $5?
ASP Online Store: CCI ASA Reducer

You also don't need to respring it for HPA. Not really necessary unless you're trying for an uber efficient setup.

I did try this once, but the nipple piece (on mine) was bigger than the bottom hole on the bucket. I was able to put the dummy in the bucket first then add the nipple but it was a pain to tighten all the way in plus very hard to take back off. It was not worth it to me, however if you had a nipple that could fit through the bottom of the changer it would for sure work.

Mine's actually gonna run out of the side of the unit. I don't have an asa and the drop-out will hold the part.

The problem is that I have a DT1 UC Kit and I can't get the ASA reducer in the ASA. The threads are just too tight. I can get it in part way, but then it doesn't fully seal and leaks. So, this was my alternative.

I may or may not try it. Thanks everyone for the help so far.

The only catch to using the end port on one of Titus' dummy 12g's is that the brass plug doesn't go all the way flush into the side port. Which will make it sit slightly canted in the bucket changer unless you grind/file it down where it sticks out. Found out the hard way trying to run the DRV off of HPA last weekend.

Perhaps Titus can get them to be made for specific applications?

If you know you are never gonna use the side port, it shouldn't be too hard to loctite the plug in and then grind it/turn it down like PistolRogue said.
