RAP4 do a 20 round spring feed for the firestorm pistol that you might be able to adapt.

Want to avoid RAP4, thanks for the tip though!

Agree that is generally a good policy but how wrong can they get a tube with a spring in it ;-)

I've got a RAP4 20 round spring feed on hand at the moment, and as Cannon Fodder said, it's pretty hard to screw up a spring feed. The one I have seems perfectly okay.

Could you upload some better pictures? Like the end of the feedtube please?

Been thinking about doing something like that with one of my old trracers...
But I would do the feed turn/ramp/whatever like this:

The pink being a separate plug, way easier to machine and to experiment your way to the perfect curve for the feed...
And also, how are you going to reload it?

I was going do to the same thing as you(but horizontally, your way is better) , it was only a sketch to show how It would fit. I'm planning to reload by another plug, you turn the gun upside down, pull the plug and pour down some balls.

EDIT: I'm also going to change the whole design for a separate trigger-guard, the built in will only cause problems, and doesn't look as good.

with the way those RAP4 mags clip on you could make some kind of sleeve around the body thethat they could clip onto and a figure of 8 type arrangement to stablise it on the barrel. Do the agent smith style reloading mod on the spring feed an reloading should be easy, only thing I'm not sure about is how far back into the trigger area this would intrude.

May be easier to build up a springfeed for the top of a stock class body and make the feedblock larger to fit the top of the body and have a fake lookinh shotgun receiver. Would be easier than builder a hwhole new body. I was thinking of doing the same thing but making a fake receiver with kydex and moulding it over the fedblock.

Of course it would be easier, but not as fun I have access to CNC mills and lathes in my school, so why not? I'm not in hurry either, this is just a fun project and a will learn something from it too.
