New Phantom owner

Hey everybody! I just got my first phantom and was trying to decide which upgrades to get first. So I am turning to you guys for help. Its a VSC Phantom. I will be putting a T-stock and an undercocking kit on first thing. But what are some popular mods and in what order would you do them? Thanks in advance for everyones help!

Freak or other type of insert barrel. That's about it.

That is on the list.. I plan on sending my barrel to Super Stanchy this winter. Might just send him the whole gun and have him give it the SSC royal treatment.

The stock barrel is great, but I've always been partial to Carbon Fiber barrels. The Deadlywind is very nice.

You can check out the stickied Mods thread, but beyond a barrel kit or detent rings, most Phantom "upgrades" are a matter of personal preference.

Most will recommend the Undercocking kit. If you can afford it, spring for a dual guide rod model. Otherwise, the Wevo/CCI kit is great.

Agreed fluted hammer and ASP detent.
Barrels I would say it's a personal choice. I've tested a boat load and have different opinions than other people in MCB. The freak is awesome in any barrel and really makes a difference. I'm using a freak tapped BOA chrome barrel to great effect now.

I like the asp detent mod, pretty smart idea to use some common off the shelf o rings. Most likely I will have the barrel bored for freak inserts since I have some inserts laying around that I no longer have a barrel for.

Is the back of the VSC valve body Gauged?
If not I'd do that too. Its great knowing where you stand on CO2 before you make a big run.
