Ya don't say? maybe I'll pick one up and if I it's still not small enough I'll get that one bored.

These used to run about .687, I'm not certain if Mike made any with the new .685 barrel stock. Just call and ask, Mike will give you the answer.
(They're awesome barrels)

current bore on standard barrels is 0.686-687, so the nickel probably runs 0.683-684...

This is an email I looked up from the man himself, dated April 2009:

The smaller bore .688" are already in production. The .691" are being phased out. The nickel plated barrels are .688" old run and .686" new run in process.

If you want something simple that I picked up from years ago. Run 3 or 4 strips of nail polish (any color) on the inside of the barrel to create a tighter fit for the ball (You will have to put multiple layers on each one). I've been doing this with my 1999 stock barrel with great success on recent batches of all stars. It also just cleans out easily with nail polish remover.

I've got 4 Stanchy barrels and the smaller brass Tymcneer Freak inserts, you can't do any better than this for a pump gun. I'm a complete barrel whore/psyhco! and thats what works for me! I have a Duck slide with a 6" Phantom barrel with the Phantom front and its very good even though its short. There are allot of great bits of advice in this thread but when you run into some sub .675 paint and you don't have a smaller insert you will be hating yourself due to roll outs! I have a .670 back that cost me 30.00$ that I have only used once but it saved my day! What led me to this was I had to borrow a .675 from Yoda when the smallest I had was a .681 and the paint was just rolling down the barrel and I was having a terrible day! But Yoda had an extra to lend me and after that I just bought what I thought I would need to keep me sane if that ever happened again. You can find a Freak kit for around 75.00$ and I think Stanchy gets around 35.00$ to Freak a barrel. And I think he is offering the O ring mod in the barrel. Ya that Stanchy is da man! And Ty has a brass back sale that may still be going on if you move fast! Feyd............
