Phantom if it

So I recently purchased an ifit kit for my phantom and tried it out in the back yard. I like it so far and will be trying it at the local paintball field tomorrow. It seems, however, to have caused my shots to be louder... Maybe it is just me over analyzing... Has anyone experienced this our am I being paranoid of sorts?
Oh, my barrel is a cci 11" stock barrel.

It should actually get quieter as long as the ball sets in the sizer

Don't worry about the sound. Your enemies will have tasted death by the time the sous reaches their dead ears.

So after a full day of playing, I am pretty frustrated with the ifit. My velocity was all over the place unlike what I had hoped. I am running hpa with the stock spring so this week I am going to pick up a spring kit and switch it out. Hopefully this may fix the issue. My muzzle velocity was going anywhere between 280-207 fps. Once I took the ifit off it was running 280-245. Maybe it's just operator headspace and timing....

What sizer are you using, and what's your paint size?

The paint was fitting into .679. It was rolling through the .682 with ease. I tried dropping to the .676 to see if maybe I was not underboring enough but it caused the paint to break so I went back to the .679. Ran a game with the .682 as well but was having rollouts even with the ASP detent mod.

Well I would say if your playing with a stock class feed then leave the gun tilted down for an extra second so the ball will set in the sizer, since it doesn't actually get pumped into and ifit you just have to let it fall in. I always just drilled my barrel for ifit inserts.

Chris -

Which detents are you using with the mod? Do you have the Teflon horseshoes, or the 90 duro 006, or the metric 2x3mm detents?
