what size C02 tank do you guys use on your phantoms? and how many shots can you get out of it?
im looking at 20oz so it last me all day and more, a 12 or 9oz to keep it nice and light. please help me out. just seeing whats the perfect setup, my phantom is all stock and im thinking about going constant air and i shoot roughly a bag a day of full play.

I run a 13ci 3k tank on my phantom, seems to get right around 160 shots of a fill, works great playing modified stock class. For big games I just carry 2 of them, keeps my phantom super light. At the end of the day my arms aren't tired like when I walk around with a Sniper all day.

Just my thoughts.

3.5oz for me, if I'm not using 12ies. Love the size and weight of them. I never really kept track of how many shots I got with it, but it's more than a 13/3K will give. Essentially, you're trading consistency for shot capacity, and they're a bit tougher to fill.

But I like the smaller profile, and it's nice to be able to go a few rounds without filling up. I'm actually pretty sure I could get the whole day out of one if I tried.

I use a 3.5oz as well, i like the size but it will be hard if your field doesn't give free fills for CO2. I usually get about 300 shots or so if i remember correctly.

A 9oz will shoot more than a bag of paint (about 700 shots iirc) and it balances a Phantom nicely. I'd recommend against a 20oz as it will make your gun very, very back heavy. Even the 12oz will make your Phantom noticeably back heavy.

im asking because if my stock is completely broken, i was going for the constant air with an on/off and use the tank as a stock but i wanted to get enough shots out of a tank and make it light weight too.

I was using a 9oz and played for about 6hours nonstop at a scenario without needing to refill. Shot about 500 rounds that day and still had co2 in the tank.

4oz here, really haven't got a shot count out of it yet...I use it in a modified SC setup, that is 15 round feedtube, UC kit and instead of 12ies a 4oz where the 12ies would go. I really like it setup this way as it balances the marker real nice.
