Phantom not working

So I recently acquired a phantom and I can't get it to work . The problem I have is that I can't cock it and get it to lock. Therefore cannot shoot anything. Should I post pics? Also should I talk to mike? I'm thinking it's a lower reciever and body problem or it's missing a spacer.

Going to ask the obvious, but do you have an air source hooked up to it? Phantoms (generally) won't cock without air going into the valve.

If your Phantom is not aired up, it will not lock in place when you cock it.

Is the stock spring good?

It is possible to have the Phantom cocked without air if you use a different spring. That's what I've heard. Idk if your going for this approach.

Add air source

Replace spring with stock one (might be too long and won't catch)

make sure the pump arm Isnt screwed in too far

Those are the general problems, beyond that, I don't know

is your velocity adjuster screwed in too far?
(the flat head slot when you look down the barrel/breech)
if its too far in, it might not cock when aired up too

If I have to hook up an air source before I can cock and shoot then that should do it.

I have a cci spring kit running on red (idk what pressure range this is good for).

Also my velocity adjuster/bolt is a hex not a flathead so I dont know what is deal with that. Nor do I know about why the bolt is shredding orings like crazy (so I should get this size number and buy like 100 of them on mcmaster lol).

I'm such a noob at phantoms, why can't this be easy like the mini?

they are easier than a mini.

you shouldnt shred bolt orings.
put your finger inside the breech, feel around for a sharp edge to catch the oring

if your bolt has hex, it might be an ASP TPC (upgraded)

Yep. Unscrew front thumb screw, unscrew pump rod, turn body sideways, all your internals fall out.

OP, don't know if you know this yet, but you can even disassemble it without removing the air source, save you don't touch the power tube (the thing at the back of the gun that the rear thumbscrew is holding in place).

I'm so deathly afraid that if I took out any of the screws while aired up. So I spent like 2 12g trying to get this baby working.

Also Ryan I'm suspecting it's the compensator that may be doing it or the hole wasnt smooth. Will check this out and let you guys know. And about the mini, I guess it's better to say I know the mini WAY better than I know phantoms and pump markers in general
