not sure if people shine in on this. but ever one hand is different then other. so some frames might not feel right to some people. that what i learned from shoot hand guns. since my feel better in some frames then other.

a grip with out finger grooves possibly has more versatile appeal: while grooves can be added via wrap-around grips, grooves are much harder to remove once they are machined into aluminum.

A 90* grip is great for duck slides/pistol style phantoms. But, as most phantoms are long barrel set ups, a less pistol dedicated grip angle may be more ideal to appeal to a broader base of the phantom grip market.

Make a grip frame that takes revolver grips but can both mount up to phantom's m16 as well as still mount an asa on the bottom?

A flat (horizontal to barrel) bottom 45 frame with a slight humpback would sell well, I think. RTR doesn't regularly have them in stock.
