I think you are right. Polishing helps it slide on to the bolt easier, but it does very little if anything to help the sear come off easier. I want to change out the sear spring for a slightly lighter one. Off to the hardware store for a punch pin. I wish my Grandpa's shop didn't burn to the ground a few weeks ago this would be a whole lot easier with his tools.

ApoC Thank you for your concern. It is being taken care of by the insurance company.

Alright I used a pin punch to replace the spring with a slightly lighter one. The sear moves more easily now. Thanks again ApoC.

Now I am just waiting for a bolt and a few other things from CCI.
