T stock and bottle together?

Hey guys,

I want to mount the T-stock and a bottle together on my phantom. I don't like the Tank Rings from White Wolf and i heard that orders can take forever and a day.

What i am wondering is if i could use this:

CCI Phantom Drop Forward - Black

and have the regular asa mount on the bottom and the t-stock up top, it looks like it has 4 holes there, 2 to mount it to the grip and 2 for the t-stock ? Would the bottle clear? I'll be using either a 12 oz or 4 oz CO2, have not decided yet.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

I would recommend getting a drop forward from CCI directly. They make one that is made to mount with the T-stock.

I used to use this setup, its really nice to have a tank if you prefer the shoulder stock but you can still have a very large tank(I've put a 68/45 there) if you prefer. It also gives you the option of a foregrip if you already have a VSC setup. Here's how I used to run it.

the four holes are just different positions for mounting. The screws pass through the same set of holes for the t-stock, the drop and the bottom of the grip frame. The only place the holes are threaded is in the bottom of the grip frame. You may need to go to your hardware store to buy some extra long asa screws if you do not already have them. Check the stickied phantom threads & sizes for the correct threading.

12 or 14 oz tank should clear fine. I would use my 13 or 22ci tanks, but they both have old school nitroduck ireg tank regs that have an extra fat lip around the bottom edge of the asa threads--preventing the tank from being screwed into the square face of the drop forward. any modern, ordinary, narrow tank reg asa's should be compatible.

Penarol10 is that the CCI drop forward in the picture? What i am thinking of trying is actually mounting the bottle where your stock is and the stock where the bottle is. Otherwise, thanks for the info guys.

Wouldn't that make it very uncomfortable and too tall to aim? If that is your aim, would you consider changing your valve to a back bottle and then mount the stock where you want it to be?

Alternately, you could try using the LAPCO drop stock. It will work with a 13ci tank.
