Classic Phantom Setups

So I know there are more than a few folks on here that have been abusing CCI products since the early days. I have this idea to build a modern Phantom that pays homage to the old unibodies, but I don't know how they were commonly set up back then, and what kind of accessories were prevalent. I need some inspiration!

How did you "oldschoolers" set up your Phantoms in the unibody days? Pics would be a big bonus, if possible!

The guy that got me started on phantoms made his reverse bottomline with a bottle. He had the really old grips that needed the block to make it bottomline. It was pretty cool with the old 7oz tank sticking forward. Looked like a space gun. I will try to get him to snap a picture for me...

Oh yeah! Forgot bout Island Style constant air. That'd be a good touch.

My first exposure to unibody phantom was right feed, 11" barrel, WGP ammo hopper and 12 gram dropout

Whatever you do make sure to use the old, long style pump handle.

NOW this thread is picking up! I was thinking about going "Youngblood" and seeing if Mike had any 18+" barrels left. I like how the dropout is just an extension of the body tube, but I think in trying to capture a modern old-school gun a back bottle valve body with a reducer routed to a bottomline setup may be the way to go. I know the dropouts were quite old as well, but I think I'd rather run CA for practicality (I play scenario). The stick feed will happen, for sure.

Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to run the tank. I'm not a stock fan, but I DO love the aesthetics of a thermo tank snugged into a tank ring, so I may hunt a bottom-mounted tank ring, sans stock.
