Ego or ASP; which is better and why?

Ego is only a ball detent. ASP is ball detent and anti-double feed. For really small paint, I prefer ASP. Ego does a decent job for sort of small paint. ASP have various detent material choices - softer to rigid. Ego has only one material.

i have no experience but on paper, asp looks slightly better as it prevents rollouts AND double feeds and so it has better value. as said before ego is just a detent.

ASP. If you lose the o ring, you can replace it at just about any hardware store. Ego detents could be a little more difficult to find in a pinch.

Has anyone created an Ego detent mod for a Phantom that works without the stock feed block in place? Something to consider if you ever play with a hopper.
