Sure, if you find the right anno place. Mike doesn't offer anything other than acid wash or solid color.

Aurora anno I dont believe anyone even does anymore. Its a pain to do and is really expensive.

Aurora is a plating process.

there are 2 different ways to do it. One supposedly hideously expensive, and one not so bad at all. Unfortunately the not so expensive process never really made it to paintball, so you'd have to find the industrial finishing place that did the demo pieces. If you search AO, you might be able to track down the finisher.

There is also "oil slick" which I understand is a REALLY well controlled translucent powdercoat over a high polish finish. Don't know anyone with the setup to do that one either.

Its a physical vapor deposition process

Durable Vacuum Metallizing PVD Finishing - Providence Metallizing: Industrial Services

Most shops dont do it because you need a high end vacuum chamber with a microwave gun inside

About a year ago I was looking into doing this on one of my guns (aurora Redux ) I emailed about three or four places that did PVD coating, and the CHEAPEST I was quoted was $2000. I've always kept my interest in it, but I've never found anyone who could do it cheaper. That said, I'd still do it in a heartbeat if anyone stumbles upon a more reasonable price quote.

At one point Tanury industries was willing to do $450 but kept pushing the date back on me and then quoted $2000 for a run. I'm not sure how many pieces that covered but it seemed like a per batch price.

I believe it was titanium vapor deposition, if there was enough interest we might be able to get a run together.

I had to google what that was and oh that is pretty.
Depending on the cost I might have to toss one of my mags in for the run.

Wasn't there also a high fail rate on the pieces?
