VSC line "upgrade" question

Hi guys I have been considering "upgrading" my VSC setup. I have recently started to use constant Co2 "4oz\3.5" and I'm looking at putting my palmer inline on it. The "problem" is that my valve vsc fitting seems stuck and I can't seem to unscrew it. Is there some special way to do it or am I just doing it wrong?

Are you talking about the hardline fitting on the valve body?

Take a crescent wrench, twist off. Sometimes, Mike loctites the fittings on from what I hear.

If it's really stuck on, disassemble the valve and stick it in some boiling water to let everything loosen up.

Apparently kettle water isn't hot enough, but i got the fitting off by lightly tapping an adjustable wrench with a hammer. Now i have run into another "problem". How do you guys run your Palmer setups on the side? With a male to male fitting? (to lazy\tired to search 23:26)

I believe that's how it's done. If you wanted, you could just get a Phantom specific stab and call it a day. Or buy a cart reg and run it through your vertical adapter.

Palmers makes one that replaces the whole valve.

Stabilizer not regulator but thanks. I have or at least I think I have figured out how to run my inline stabilizer last night. I just have to do it when I get home. I have cleaned my reg since part of it came apart when I removed the male to male fitting. So rebuilding and setting up my Phantom is on my to do list
