2 quick questions
Picked up a Phantom a while ago, but haven't gotten a chance to use it yet. Been about 4/5 years since I had my last Phantom, and I don't remember these two things from when I had my first Phantom. Totally stock VSC Phantom, has the CCI Undercocking Kit.
First, noticed this when picking it up real quickly. When I shake the gun it sounds like the bolt is lose/moving back and forth.
Second, the Compensator Drag Set Screw (had to look in the manual for the name, lol) is turned all the way in, but not screwed in tight.
Are these 2 things normal? I feel like I'm having a brain fart right now.
The internals will rattle a bit, it's completely normal.
You don't screw the nylon set screw down onto the TPC. You take the TPC out of the bolt and put the set screw about a thread into the bolt. When you thread the TPC into the bolt it will cut into the nylon screw and hold it securely.
Thank you sir.
