Punisher Undercocking Kit VSC Question
I bought this stock class Phantom from a friend, and I've finally decided I want to try it open stock class. (That's the one with a tank/hopper, right?) I have the piece that screws in above the vertical 12 gram changer, but I'm not sure how to get that piece out. It has a Punisher undercocking kit on it, and it looks like it came with a custom vertical ASA, so I don't know if I'd need to do some serious overhaul to get it to work with a tank or not.
There is a seam where I think it should unscrew, but it is extremely tight, so I'm not sure how to get it unscrewed, if it does at all.

Are you talking about the piercing assembly? 3/8" allen key.
First you need to remove the "bucket" which holds the CO2 cartridge. Then if possible, clamp the gun in a vice (protected by rags) so that it isn't going anywhere. Then use the 3/8 allen wrench and insert it into the now exposed face of the cartridge changer assembly (you will see the pierce pin... little silver "pin" surround by a flat, white seal). Turn the allen wrench like you are unscrewing a large screw. Hopefully with a little work, the rest of the assembly will come out of the vertical air adapter (the portion attached to the front of the trigger guard with the hose running to it).
If the vertical adapter moves when you start cranking on the cartridge chamber... STOP! Make sure the two screws holding the adapter on to the guard are tight. If they are tight and the adapter still moves, remove the screws and take the adapter off the gun and put it in a vice (protected with rags) and then try to remove the changer assembly.
Yes, I'm pretty sure I'm talking about the piercing assembly. It looks like the assembly should screw out so I can screw the piece on the right in.
Are you talking about the screws that are in front of the trigger?

Well, turns out I don't have a 3/8" allen key, but looking at my Phantom, I can tell that this was what I was wanting to do with it. Thanks a ton for the help!
