It's been available directly from CCI and his dealers for a few months now. I think it's around $65 direct from CCI, or cheaper from any CCI dealer.

If anyone out there feels the need to disassemble the reg (against the better judgment of Mike himself!!!) please, PLEASE remember to completely remove the 2 set screws (number 8 in the diagram) before un-threading the reg body. These set screws are a safety measure that prevents the reg body from loosening prematurely. Failure to remove the screws may result in destroying the threads on the reg body, which destroys the reg itself.

Don't ask me how I know this...

@epicbytes, oops I misread your post. My bad. Yes, pps does still make that model stab for phantoms. But they are quite expensive. Phantom Stabilizer Kit [PPSP007] - $145.00 : Palmers Pursuit Shop, Where Custom Still Means Something

Well I need one of these at some point for a project. Been looking for small regs for a really long time!!

Also, any chance of getting specs on these (length & diameter)?

Diameter is the same as the standard vert ASA adapter. Length depends on the reg version you get. I think the ASA threaded version is slightly longer than the 1/8" NPT version. Sorry, I don't have any in stock to get an exact measure at the moment.

I will say that I do like the PPS Phantom stab, even though it gave me some trouble last weekend. I like the ability to easily adjust the pressure externally. The gauge is extremely helpful as well. However, the price and size of the CCI reg is hard to beat.

Gonna bump this for relevant question. What kind of 12g efficiency are people getting with the CCI regulator? I like a consistent shot, and was considering a regulator for my SC Phantom. Is 30 shots at say 270 FPS within the realm of possibility, or am I dreaming?

I get 30 shots out of my unregulated Phantom @ 280 with a good paint/bore match and I'm only +/- 3 fps.

I suppose it isn't technically a problem with consistency. I should rephrase it as a preference for the flat velocity curve. I enjoy the performance of a regulated SC Sniper, but I prefer the feel of a Phantom. If I could get the flat velocity curve on my Phantom and still get a decent efficiency, I'd like to go that route. I know it's not quite feasible with any of the conventional regs out there, but I was kinda hoping it would be more doable with the no-frills, specific-to-CO2 CCI reg. There's really no basis for that assumption.

It's more of a preference thing than a performance thing.

For the folks that have run one of these CCI vertical regs (pre-set on 750 PSI) on a Phantom, have you found it necessary to swap out the stock main spring with the red one?
