I love how only about half the people commenting have bothered to read what sub-forum this topic falls under.

This is the CCI forum folks, and the question is in regards to Phantom barrels.

To stay on topic, I've found the Lapco Microshot to be the best one-piece barrel out of the ones I've tried (stock CCI, Flasc, and Dye). I've also tried barrels with Freak inserts, as well as the TechT iFit system (with the stock CCI barrel), but inserts simply don't perform as well as sized one-piece barrels.

Not necessarily phantom threaded barrels, I have a round head body cocker threaded

I'm tempted to get a small bore brass made up for my dsp.

I was gonna say, there's a lot of Phantom barrels out there!

I suppose only some of these would work if you're using a Techt barrel kit adapted to cocker threads.

There will be a Tru Flight barrel order being placed shortly. I'd like to see how it stacks up against my selection.

BTW, anyone had any experience boring out a stock handle to fit the Techt barrel kit? (a little off topic I know)

as long as it has a good bore size, length, and style, I'm game.

Currently working on the idea of flexhoning some of them to see if there's a good enough difference.

On my phantom, the stock barrel is what stays on it. I have a scepter kit for my 2k4 though.
