Any Reason to NOT Get the CCI One-Piece Feed?
I'm wondering if any of you fine folks have aby gripes about the new CCI one-piece SC feeds. Bulk, weight, shape, etc.
Price isn't an issue. One of my favorite guns, and the one that's treated me the best, has been my Phantom. I now want to just go balls-out and order up the best configuration I can get (to my tastes, of course).
Wouldn't you really rather have a Buick?

I have not heard anything negative about it other than aesthetics.
Some people (myself included) don't like the look of it, but they function exactly as intended.
Tell me why I had to be a powerslave.
I don't wanna die, I'm a god, why can't I live on?

I quite like the look of the one piece feed, and it's pretty close in weight to the standard horizontal tube. That being said I'm taking it off my marker and putting it into the spare parts bin. I'd certainly be willing to sell the feed if anyone was interested.
My main concern about the one piece feed is the size of the holes/viewports in the sides. It seems like whenever I take a hit on the marker it's near enough to the feed that splatter and shell get into the feed and onto my ammo.
Granted that could just be something to do with my play style causing more gun hits than normal

Pump Player since 96`
I'm with u Pat, I think they're just plain ugly. But I'm use to the standard feed tube.

I haven't experienced them, but they just look awkward and ugly compared to the rest of the gun. It might look good with a duckslide, but now on the phantom alone.

I like mine on my phantom, but like neftaly said nothing can be out on the rail. It's too narrow.
