Who's still doing phantom freak boring?

I need someone in the US, I don't want to deal with shipping my barrel to Canada. Does anyone trust someone in the US, I know Stanchy is a no go. Nerve (on pbn) isn't doing them anymore for now.

Anyone know someone?

EDIT:
Mike won't do freak bores to barrels that are not specially made by him to freak bore. He's making special barrels for the freaks, but won't do any regular barrels.

Try Tjd. Check in the dealer forum. He makes the pneu-assist cocker kits too. Located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Great guy and great work.

I have about a half dozen barrels I need Freak-bored, and was planning on sending them to "Flory" - I believe his MCB name is "Paintballer50505". His feedback seems solid, and the last I knew, he wasn't backed up with work. As soon as we're into the new year, I'll be in contact with him.

I have seen another guy here doing Freak bores. Check the Custom Projects and Airsmiths sections, and see whose offering Freak boring services. Search button came up with this...

I don't know what's up with SSC. I read his Freak thread, and saw the complaints. Not good. Hopefully he'll get things straightened out soon. Do a search for "Flory" to check on his feedback and services. Price and feedback looked good to me.

EDIT: Funsi beat me to it.

Yes I like doing phantom barrels, nice and straight.

you need to turn down the shank after the threads because it gets so thin that it can easily be crushed with your finger tips after its bored. This is a phantom barrel without an insert sitting in it. Just did this one yesterday.

here is an old AA phantom barrel I did a while ago with the insert in place of the shank.

Yep, the new Freak-bore barrels from CCI come the same way - with the shank turned down to the threads.
