There is a guy selling .681 full control bore 13in barrels on Facebook. I ordered one but it hasn't arrived yet, will let you know my thoughts next week. But plan 9 is correct, stock barrel shoots money

What about the deadlywind fibur barrel with the freak inserts how does that shoot? And how would I go about getting my stock barrel bored for freak inserts?

doesn't have

I own a 14" Stock barrel that has been bored and I have an 8" Deadlywind fiber barrel. Only real difference is the need to "maybe" run an underpump kit with the deadlywind barrel. Performance wise they behave the same. Phantom barrels are so light weight the deadlywind doesn't have that advantage at 3 to 4 times the cost of a CCI factory bored barrel.
Somebody needs to start making Phantom Freak backs again or I just need to grab one of Have Blue's cocker threaded roundhead bodies.

I found my 14" DW is quieter then the already easy on ears 11" stocker.

To the O.P. : as far as getting your barrel bored, cost getting it done, shipping...

Best bet to call up Mike directly ask him if he has one avail in your Ano & size match and get it shipped to ya.

Performance wise, well quite a few variables do apply, quality of paint proper bore match (in comes the theoretical counters) etc... But that's not barrel specific, its sport specific.

Bottom line, I've always invested in multiple barrels and 99% of time, you end up finding "Ol' Faithful" rendering the collection obsolete.

This.
My bone-stock matching-anno and a set of rings works so well, I wonder why I bought the .681 LAPCO and the .687 CCI Nickel plated.
