12gram Efficiency/setup

Here is my Phantom setup and results of a 12g efficiency test. I'm going to try a few things to try to get the count higher, although 30 good shots isn't bad at all.. I will update this post after running some more tests. Feel free to ask questions/give advice on getting a few more shots. Thanks everyone!

Nice man. Anything over 30 at 250fps+ is pretty good. What brand of 12gs and how long of an interval between shots?

They are leland 12grams. I took 3 shots and then wrote down the numbers for those, so about 3 -7 seconds per shot.

Just got the back check valve from BigMatt-MadCustoms in the mail today! Now I need to do a two-12 gram efficiency test. Great idea with the weed whacker line, just did it and it seems to works perfectly. Now need to retest... Here is a pic of the mods.

what do you consider to be a "good shot"? anything over 220fps? 230? what is the target fps, 280? some of the data was marked "x" or "xxx"...what does that mean? barrel break? didn't load a ball? loaded two balls?

what is the barrel control bore length and size? that's something that can help with efficiency...a decent length control bore (~8") and a slight underbore.

The x or xxx are shots my chrono didn't pick up do to user error most likely, you have to hold that yellow chrono just right. I have a 8" lapco desert edge back and a fuse tip for a total of 12". Just slightly under bored like you mentioned, with evil paint.
