Ceramic Phantom Barrel?

The barrel on this custom phantom is ceramic? The only thing this baby needs is a freaked barrel and I don't know of there will be any issues with the OD of the deadlywind so I wonder if I could keep it original and just get the barrel freak bored?

You are talking about the stock barrel right? I have seen numerous freaked barrels for phantoms...but a DW barrel is like 80 bucks...if you want to spend that much on a barrel or 35 to get it freaked. Both barrels perform well though.

It's the 13" with removable tip. I'm pretty sure it isn't aluminum.

Hehe I call it my Phantom Longbow

The barrel is not the normal stock aluminum barrel. I'd like to keep it original and get it freaked but only if someone will freak bore this barrel.

That looks deliciously similar to the setup I'm going for on my lever action. Any idea where that spring feed's from?

I think that is one of Mike's barrels. He sold an 18" for a few years with that same muzzle brake, Phantom threaded on either end.

Wow. Yeah, I made that gun. Where is it now? I'm just (wife's) driving along a n I was browsing tapatalk! What a coincidence. You can see it mostly finished here.

Barrel is just matte anodized aluminum.

Looking at the photos above, and the ones on the Sergison site, it looks like the pump arm was straight, and is now pretty bent up. Not sure if that's a red flag of any potential issues, but you might want to look into that.

And yes, as others have mentioned, that looks like a double-threaded 18" aluminum CCI barrel - not ceramic. Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone who is currently doing Freak boring for Phantom barrels, and I've been on the look out for someone who will do the work.
