Does anyone have an update or progress report about the new site?

Meh. MCB is better (c:
When did this happen? Did you ever PM one the of the admins about this?

It was never a topic or problem that was brought up in the Admins section, and I can't understand why it would have been a problem anyway. We love to see people be creative. Perhaps it was moved to a more appropriate section like for photos or the DIY section?

It is very rare for a post to be deleted, and almost always it's because it's spam. Even most all "problem" threads are simply locked down, but not deleted.

I'm been an admin for the PHOG a long time, and can't for the life of me believe that your post was deleted if it was simply a review of some cool custom wood handles you made and wanted to show off.

There must be another reason. Doesn't make any sense to me either?

I posted the threads about the same time I posted the pictures here...circa July 8th of this year. I didn't complain, I just figured someone must have though that it was redundant to post it on PHOG when I already had it posted here and a lot of PHOG members would have seen it here too.

I don't mind too much, but it was more like "what the hell?"

Sorry that it happened.

If it helps any at this late date, I can assure you that it was an accident. Either a glitch in the data base which has caused other threads to be lost, operator error by one of the mods, or some other cause that sucked it into the Internet black hole.

I would have liked to see them. We had quite a few people fashion some wood grips, but few have ever made a wooden pump handle too.

I would like to give it a try some day with some birds-eye maple, and make a complete set. Grips, handle, and feed block. I think the maple would would look good on a black Phantom.

I almost made a 1 peice feed block to match the pump and grip. I mght still do it someday.

I think birdseye maple would look sweet. You should do it.

The Phantom was my first pump ( I don't count the pgp 2k, yuck) and my first online hangout. It will always be my attempted first stop on the Interweb.

Viva la PhOG!

I hope that's not a Freudian slip. Are we never being picked up, Ray? Tell us the truth.
