CCM 86* frame and CZ-75 Grips.

I have an older generation CCM 86* grip frame for a Phantom - the sort that has the wrap-around rubber grips, not the delrin plates.

From what I can tell, the 86* is based on the grip of a CZ-75 pistol, and the rubber grips are Hogue CZ-75 grips.

Will other CZ-75 grips fit the frame properly? I'd like to put of set of wood ones on mine.

CCM says that their regular 86 degree grips do not fit the phantom frame.

So i would suggest that it is possible that the phantom ccm frame is not directly compatible with CZ grips.

True, but I believe they're referring to the CCM Delrin inlays, which I don't think share a profile with CZ-styled grips. The Phantom frame actually comes with Hogue real-steel CZ wraparounds.
