That's a nice Golden Uni, plus you got the shortest barrel
Was it $40 at asp or cheaper?

That does look good. If you've got the cash, it'd be a good way to do it. My fishing line detent is solid enough to withstand a pull through squeegee and lets me shoot any size paint. That's all that mattered to me.

Have Blue charges $25 plus shipping for the mod. He sends a couple different orings to tune a bit. Mine works fine with the standard rings. Works like a charm, in fact

I was told when asking around during my project planning phase that some unis have barrels up at like .693, and at that point you can still get roll-outs even with the detents

If you upgrade internals to the anti-kink hammer, you need:
1. Hammer/sear assembly (obviously)
2. TPC (you can keep the bolt but swap the old velocity screw for a TPC)
3. Modern short powertube (and then I just got the whole assembly cause I couldn't get the cup seal off without force)

And you want to upgrade internals because once you've shot anti-kink, the old stuff feels like you are dragging a 50 lb anvil through the insides

Thanks for that. I was always curious how that worked and keep forgetting to ask about it. I'm a big fan of the nail polish detent. I've doe it to Nelsons and PGPs with a long thin paintbrush. Never tried it on the unibody though.

Happy to help. I still break out my unibody at least once a month.
