Yep, for a few weeks it rained cats 'n dogs, but it evaporated about 10 feet above your head. Basically, nearly a month of Mexican-minimum wage work in the humid 105* weather, followed by a week of the best scubadiving in the world (No joke... Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel are internationally rated).

I've had new out of the box from CCI phantoms rattle. no worries on this. If the hammer spring is not compressed at all by the velocity adjuster then you will get just enough play that the hammer will slide around and rattle.

So long as it shoots at 280 fps consistantly you have nothing to worry about.
