| Are the newer direct feed breech's still threaded for the elbows Are the newer direct feed breech's still threaded for the elbows with the locking ring ? Like the unibodies with the right side stick feeds.

| My direct feed is threaded and welded. A piece of plastic covers up the threads and weld. As far as I know it's a newer type, about 3-5 years old I think. I bought it used 2 years ago.
