Phantom Grips

Hey i just got some new .45 grips for my phantom. I dont know if your not supposed to or what, but how do i take off the m16 grips?

Open the door on the bottom of your M16 style grip. New models slide, older ones swing open. You will see the head of a machine bolt deep inside.

Find an Allen wrench that is long enough and fits (3/16th ??????) the head and unscrew (turn to left) until it comes off.

kk ill give it a shot..................for some reason the the wont slide or flip. do you have to unscrew the diagnal one too?

Not sure what you mean by the "diagonal one?"

Chances are, you have a grip that the bottom piece slides out. They can be hard or stuck with old paint, but the only way to access the machine bolt that holds that grip to the trigger frame is through the bottom of the grip.

It should be clear which way it slides out. Just follow the seam in it. It should slide to the back of the grip, and off.
