| Grip frames ?, while using a stock Another thread brought this to mind, im going to buy a Pyre and was thinking to 45 frame it then in the thread some folks said that a 45frame wasnt the best fit while using a stock. Opinions ??

| A big problem is the angle at the bottom. I'm not sure about Pyre's, but most of my guns have 45-grips, and none of them have the same angle. Complicates the use of stocks since it means it might not position it at a comfortable angle. Some have a wider base as well, meaning some might not fit as well.

| The opinion i saw said m16 or othrs made for a more comfy set up than a 45. Would u agree or disagree. Im thinkin i could save a few bux and NOT get the 45 frame.

| Supernatural Anaesthetist | Comfy is in the hand of the beholder. The standard Sheridan-style grip is a bit thinner, and mated with the PMI rubber grips make a very, very comfortable grip for me. But if you've got big hands or long fingers, you might find the 45 frame to be more comfortable. The best thing to do is try to handle one of each and see which is a better fit to your hand. |
