M-16 Grip Question

I'm getting a Phantom soon and was just wondering if you can change M-16 grips to regular 45s. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

You can, and quite easily at that. They are all "Lonestar" mounted. Use a long allen key up through the bottom of the M16 grip to remove it, and replace it with the 45.

It's a piece of cake, probably the easiest mod to do on a phantom besides changing the barrel.

I would also use a washer on the screw regardless of what grip you choose. It will help minimize wear at the point of stress.
