So how do you aim an SC phantom?

Here's the deal: I love Phantoms. I think they're one of the most elegant markers ever made and I have a lot of respect for Mike Cassady. Problem is, I can't aim them to save my life. I haven't had a lot of target practice, but I've played a few games with them in different configurations (VSC, BB) but can't seem to hit anything. For now I'm stuck wielding my clunky old Sniper until someone unravels the mystery...

So how do you aim an SC Phantom?

I personally have shot it enough that I do not have to "aim" in the traditional down the barrel sense. I instinct/memory shoot it now, and it is rarely even in my line of sight.

Sorry I cannot be much help. I find crossing it over in front of your face and aiming down the same side you are holding (right hand on trigger, look down right side) works well too.

Good luck!

I use a vertical feed and I am the same as IDFKA, I pull the trigger wth my right but look down the left side of the barrel. I have used my Phantom this way from day one and I find myself doing this with almost all of my markers now.

I do much the same as stated above, but I also use a SC offest left feed on my phantom.

I use an ADCO red dot on mine. Not the 30mm, but an older smaller 20mm.

Just use the scope on the top, but don't forget to blow into it first to get enough air for a shot

When I'm running a stock, I tend to lean it over and shoot down the 'off side'. Stock on my right shoulder, gun tipped to the left, aiming along the right side of the barrel. Without a stock, it's usually centered in front of me, or off the right a bit to sight down the left side of the barrel.

Wait, I thought you just pulled the trigger and elves flew the ball to the target.

If I'm wrong, I wasted a lot of money on elf food.

ghost rings, add a red dot, or down the barrel-whatever side is most comfortable. Offset Stockclass feeds are even better for sighting down the barrel
