Phantom Problem

Well I just got done with a little target practice because I was bored and my phantom was acting up pretty badly. I was using what was left of my hp tank from yesterday first and when I would pull the trigger more than half the time it wouldn't shoot. After a few pulls (usually 5+) it would finally fire. I tried holding the pump forward, not holding it, and cussing but nothing seemed to work. I tried it with 12g and it did the same thing. After a few mess ups it would work fine for about 3-5 shots and then do it again. My only guess is that the trigger isnt tripping the sear half the time and I don't know what to do about that.
Any help?

Sounds like the pump handle either wasn't going all the way forward, leaving the bolt|hammer combination too far back to fire. Nelsons are fussy about where the hammer is or they won't catch quite right.

How would that happen hank? I was holding the pump all the way forward and it still wouldn't work. It seems to work now but any tuning suggestions are always appreciated.

akm, I changed the bolt o-ring and pumped it a little harder on the back stroke and it works now.
