Tank Position

I am looking into purchasing a Phantom and it is going to be used mainly for speedball

Where on the marker do you guys feel is most comfortable for a 3.5 oz. Co2 tank? I'd rather not go into purchasing multiple setups to see which one is more comfortable...

In the vert position you will be asking yourself how the heck does that thing always get hit. That being said being a pump I might opt for a vert anyhow better the tank than your trigger fingers.

Vert is the best way IMHO.

Keeping the bottle vertical does a great job of keeping liquid out of your gun and it's super easy to switch to 12 grams.

Another vote for Vert. I think the 3.5oz tank in the vert position gives the best center of gravity for aiming and snapping. That may be because I am now used to it, but it's the most comfy for me.

I'll go against the collective here and say Hawaiian (sp?). Tucked underneath and facing forward you can keep the gun in close to your body, just me though.

I'll second that. The vert tank for me puts so much weight on the front. I like the fact that the most weight is by my strongest hand (usually, rarely do I shoot switch). Then again, I'm a dropout SC kinda guy, so what do I know .

Well...

Is this a stock class phantom or a direct feed?

For an SC, it's vertical.

For direct feed, bottomline with 9oz bottle.

3.5oz, vert... im a fan of consistent setups (in terms of feel)

so for me, a vert air setup, with a stock, or a bottomline setup with a decent sized tank will almost ALWAYS get my vote.

hence why my sniperII has a 12v revvy and a 45/4500 most of the time.
