Buying a barrel

I want to purchase a new barrel for my Phantom. I don't have an under cocking kit, and don't plan on getting one. In searching, I thought a stock Phantom barrel would be best. I have seen some people use Stiffis on their Phantoms. Is this a good idea? And what barrels do you guys suggest?

Any help would be great, thanks.

Bored out for freak inserts stock barrel is what I like best. Simple and clean, retains the look.

Lapco micro shot. .681 bore. The are relatively cheap. Just as good, if not better than the stock barrel. And you can use the Lapco barrel when you get paint that is too small for the stock barrel, and you can still use the stock barrel for big paint.

Buy whatever looks good to ya. I'd stay away from Hammerhead barrels, but any other Phantom threaded barrel is fine. It sounds like you are coming from a world of crappy stock barrels. Welcome to the CCI forum, where the stock barrel is freaking great.

Yeah, I am from that world. Lol. I think I will end up getting an 11" I plan on getting it re-anodized with his blue camo pattern.

Yeah, stock barrel and detent kit will give you great performance, stock's have been coming in .691, .688, and .686. You'd have to ask Mike about what he still has in stock because I think hes phasing one or two of them out (.691 and maybe the .688).
