Phantom undercocking kit issue...

I bought a used phantom with wevo undercocking kit installed. When the gun is not gassed up you can pump the handle and it returns on it's own like it should. Once the gun is gassed up the and you pump the marker, you have to return the handle to the forward position by hand. It's almost as if the return spring doesn't work when the marker is pressurized. Is this something someone has heard of before?

I should add that I did Chrono the marker when I shot and it was a consistent +-5 fps.

Is there a retun spring on the pump rod? Some folks prefer not to use a return spring.

Try screwing the velocity adjuster in a couple turns and cycle it with air. BTW if you turn the TPC in more than 6 revolutions it will come out of the bolt which is bad.

You may have to switch to a blue spring so you can turn the velocity adjuster in farther. For some reason when the TPC (velocity adjuster) is screwed in the bolt to far the internals tend to kink. To avoid this i use a lighter spring to allow me to screw the TPC in farther.

I had a look at it last night and after screwing in the velocity adjuster it works perfect. I guess there wasn't enough tension on the main spring. Sorry about the stupid question guys.
