removing the hardline fitting

Is the fitting on the back of the gun that attaches to the hardline even supposed to be removed? I took the hardline off and tried to take the fitting off. It didn't budge at all. How do I take this off?

Use heat to help break the threadlocker.

I wanted to do the same thing, but I ended up selling my Phantom. Anyway, I made a thread about this a while ago and here are some of the responses:

BTW, I'd strongly suggest getting a hardline setup from CCI (I think Wevo sells them, too) rather than macroline. It looks much cleaner, helps with efficiency, and it will last much, much, much longer. It'll probably cost the same as a good macro setup, also.
Hopefully this helps.
