silencing a phantom

I play alot of woodsball and i find that pump is pretty difficult in thick woods. I take one shot that hits a branch and them i get unloaded on. What is the best way to make my phantom quiter, so i can get off multiple shots.

padding the power tube, barrels, "raincovers", airsource? all help would be appreciated. I would also like to know which barrels you think create the smallest sound signature.

thanks,
ethan

The phantom is already a very quiet gun. silencers are illegal BTW

The barrel with the smallest sound signature is Palmer's dual ported brass barrel. I think also that co2 can be quieter than HPA but don't quote me on it.

a rain cover with holes and a bunch of napkins stuffed inside is still a silencer. sorry man. Unless your field is very leniant, i don't reccomend it

I've found that a well ported barrel is nearly as quiet as using a 'rain cover'. I have a ported Stiffi barrel that is very quiet.

If it stops the rain from getting in your barrel you can qualify it as a raincover, and say the silencing effect is non-intentional. Perfectly legal.
